Terms of Service
1. Purpose and operator
These terms govern Made It, operated by Global Made Company (representative: Jae Hong Lee; business registration number: 787-11-03153; the ‘Company’). The Company's address is Unit 1002, Building 104, 92 Maehwa-ro, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. Company members post projects, partner members browse and apply, and the parties may enter into separate development contracts.
2. Registration and accounts
Members must provide accurate information and keep it current. Anyone registering or contracting for another person or organization must have authority to do so. The Company may verify email, telephone and business details and request supporting documents. Members must safeguard credentials and report suspected misuse. False information, impersonation and fraudulent registration may result in restrictions.
3. Platform services and individual contracts
The Company provides project listings, search, applications, member information, and contract and payment status features. Unless separately agreed, the company member and partner are the parties to development work. The Company does not guarantee deliverables, a successful match or income. Scope, timing, price, inspection, intellectual property, confidentiality and termination are governed by the parties' individual contract. The Company's own fault and statutory liability are not excluded.
4. Service fees
The membership services currently provided by the Company are free of charge. Development payments arising under project contracts between members are separate from service fees. The Company may introduce fees for some or all services in the future in accordance with its service operating policies. In that event, the Company will notify members in advance of the affected services, effective date, fees, payment methods, cancellation and refund conditions, and other necessary details through the amendment and notification procedures in these terms. The Company will charge service fees only when a member applies for a paid service and agrees to its fees and payment conditions. Services provided free of charge before the introduction of fees will not be charged retroactively.
5. Membership and payments
For paid access, review and separately authorize the price, currency, term, taxes and recurring billing conditions displayed at checkout. Domestic subscriptions use INNOPAY and overseas subscriptions use PayPal. Authorized subscriptions renew on the selected cycle; renewal can be canceled in Membership. Free access does not itself cancel an existing subscription. Changes to pricing or paid access conditions will be communicated before they apply, with consent obtained where required by law. The Refund Policy applies to refunds.
6. Project payments and escrow
Project payments are separate from membership fees. Funding, identity checks, inspection, payouts and refunds for Escrow.com transactions follow the transaction terms and provider procedures. Made It charges no platform transaction commission; the company member pays Escrow.com fees. Recording a termination or refund request on Made It does not automatically transfer funds. Parties must complete the required process on Escrow.com or through its support; Made It displays verified results. When an Escrow.com API response or authenticated transaction history confirms return or refund approval, Made It records it as “Refund approved / awaiting transfer.” Request receipt or a successful API connection alone is not approval. Escrow.com is responsible for executing the actual refund, its processing schedule and payment-method transfers under the transaction terms and applicable law. Approval does not confirm receipt in the buyer’s account. Made It records and displays verified statuses and provides guidance; the Company’s own fault and statutory liability are not excluded.
7. Content, rights and prohibited conduct
Content includes project posts, applications, member introductions, profile images, portfolios, attachments and external links submitted or shared through the service. Members must have lawful rights to their submissions and permit the Company to store and display them as needed to provide the service. Ownership remains with the rights holder. Infringing copyright, image rights or privacy; collecting, disclosing or trading personal data without authorization; impersonation, fraud, threats, stalking or repeated harassment; and inciting discrimination or violence based on race, nationality, gender, disability, religion or sexual orientation are prohibited. Requesting, recruiting for or applying to projects intended for crimes, including illegal gambling or prohibited trade, is also prohibited, as are malware, phishing, spam, bypassing authentication and service disruption. Lawful security research and reports of harm are assessed in light of their purpose, content and authorization.
8. Prohibited sexual content and protection of minors
Creating, uploading, sending, sharing, advertising, selling, buying, requesting or brokering child sexual abuse or exploitation material, illegally recorded sexual material, intimate recordings distributed against a person's wishes regardless of consent to the original recording, non-consensual sexual edits or synthetic media (including deepfakes), or copies of such material is prohibited. AI generation, drawings, video, audio, external links or access details must not be used to evade these prohibitions. Posting or distributing pornography, soliciting or brokering prostitution, sexual harassment, sexual blackmail, grooming minors, and requesting sexual material or acts from minors are also prohibited. Commissioning content, software or websites for these purposes, recruiting developers, applying to such projects and related transactions are prohibited. Legitimate descriptions for reporting harm or prevention education are assessed in context; those purposes alone do not permit reposting or distributing sexual abuse material or illegal intimate recordings.
9. Reporting, content measures and appeals
Report prohibited content or harm to global.made.it.company@gmail.com. Provide the content URL or project/member identifier, the reason for reporting and contact details for a response. Do not newly download, copy or attach sexual abuse material or illegal intimate recordings; describe their location and the circumstances. Upon receiving a report or discovering indications of a violation, the Company reviews the available information and risk of harm and may temporarily block, restrict visibility of or delete content, or restrict account access as necessary. Clear serious violations, such as distribution of sexual abuse material, or urgent risks of further harm may be blocked before notice. A confirmed serious violation may lead to permanent restriction even on a first offense. Measures take account of severity, repetition and risk of harm. The Company informs the member of the reason, scope, duration and appeal method; urgent measures are notified afterward without undue delay unless notification is legally restricted. Members may appeal to the same email address with supporting information. The Company communicates the review outcome and corrects measures found to be mistaken. Reporter and victim information is processed only as necessary and is not disclosed to the reported party without a lawful basis. Legally required reporting, cooperation with lawful investigation requests and record retention follow the applicable legal basis and scope.
10. Restrictions, withdrawal and service changes
The Company may restrict access as necessary for violations or security risks, explaining the reason. Urgent measures will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible, and members may challenge them. Members may request account deletion in My Page. Deletion does not extinguish individual contract obligations, unsettled amounts or statutory recordkeeping duties. Maintenance or outages may interrupt service; notice will be given in advance where possible or afterward in urgent cases.
11. Disputes and changes
Parties should first seek resolution using relevant records. Korean law governs platform use without excluding mandatory consumer protections applicable to the user. Jurisdiction follows applicable law; the governing law of an individual development contract is stated in that contract. Changes to these terms and their effective date will be announced in advance, with separate consent where legally required. Differences between the Korean and English versions are interpreted subject to mandatory law and individual agreements.
